Our new partner Happywhale has developed an AI-powered algorithm to make whale tracking more accurate and accessible. Whales of Guerrero has a proven track record of combining whale protection with the development of coastal communities in Mexico.

WhaleFin's long-term goal is to combine the strengths of marine conservation organizations to create a long-lasting positive change in our oceans and for the creatures who live there.

Here's What You Can Do Today

Although it can be difficult for most people to study and protect whales professionally, we can all contribute, starting with the small things around us.

Reduce your use of plastic products, and reuse and recycle what you can. Plastics in the ocean can hurt all marine animals, especially whales.

Use a lower temperature and shorter program when washing. Textiles contain microfibers that can end up in the ocean during washing.

Follow responsible and safe whale watching principles to avoid disturbing marine wildlife.
